For example, a consulting arrangement makes good business sense when we engage in IT strategy, network security audits, and brand assessment projects. team extension - Our clients are often simply looking for talented individuals to strengthen their existing teams on a full-time, day-to-day basis. b-i provides our clients with individuals possessing specialized skills that are currently missing or understaffed. This type of engagement is also sometimes described as a "staff augmentation" or "body shop" arrangement. On a team extension engagement, one or more b-i technical staff members supplement a customer's internal IT team to fulfill tactical needs. Team extension is most frequently used for pure IT assignments, such as helpdesk support or database programming. projects - When we win a project engagement, a b-i team assumes full responsibility for management and delivery of a complete, end-to-end solution. Our project teams are often multi-disciplinary and might also include companies or individuals that are subcontractors to b-i. We frequently work on a project engagement basis when we deliver complex, multi-phase business solutions, such as enterprise information portals.
